We Grow Chicago – Unity Day
Last year 250+ attendees spread out over 100 sites to clean-up and beautify the incredible Englewood neighborhood – and this year promises to be just as powerfully impactful. Volunteers will take on projects like trash pick up, gardening, painting, and more.
Spark Ventures will be providing transportation to and from the event for our volunteer group, but you can also meet us there. You can find more details on transportation, and the planned itinerary for the day below. We hope you will join us!
Here’s a more detailed picture of what you can expect for Unity Day 2025:
8:30 AM
Meeting Time / Load Bus
Spark Ventures will be renting a bus to transport our volunteers to the Unity Day location site or you can meet us there.
Meet-up Location: The Residence Inn at 11 S LaSalle St, Chicago, IL 60603
9:30 AM
Arrive at Peace Campus
Peace Campus Location: 6407 S. Honore Street Chicago, IL 60636
10 AM – 2 PM
Unity Day Program Activities and Celebration
Participate in service activities, such as indoor and outdoor painting, gardening, trash cleanup, etc.
After our hard work, we’ll enjoy the lively DJ and do some dancing, jump rope, and reflect on a successful day of service with the other volunteers.
2 PM
Bus Pick-Up from Peace Campus
Bus will return all volunteers to happy hour location

Registration for Unity Day participation is $25 per volunteer. This cost will help support expenses (including transportation to and from the event) for the Spark Ventures volunteer group. Spark will make a donation in honor of each participant to support programming at We Grow.
