Join Our Associate Board
The Spark Ventures Associate Board is a group of motivated young professionals in Chicago who are dedicated to supporting Spark’s mission and initiatives. Associate Board members play a pivotal role in advancing Spark’s mission by mobilizing their skills, network, and passion to help create a lasting impact in our partner communities. No prior experience with board service necessary.
As a member of Spark’s Associate Board, you’ll be able to:
– Contribute your skills and insights to strengthen Spark’s capacity and operations in areas such as marketing, finance, event planning, fundraising, and social media.
– Join monthly meetings at popular spots around the city to track progress on the Associate Board’s goals and impact.
– Attend and support fundraising and recruiting efforts for Spring Forward, our annual ticketed spring fundraising event. Whether it is inviting your network, volunteering, securing a sponsorship from your employer, or soliciting auction items, your efforts help raise vital funds and awareness.
– Help plan and volunteer at our annual AB Bartending fundraiser.
– Have the opportunity to take on more responsibility and step into leadership roles.
